Having fronted numerous bands over the last few years, David enjoyed considerable success that earned him support from BBC Introducing and saw him share the stage with the likes of Frightened Rabbit and Admiral Fallow as well as opening for Emeli Sande. His decision to break away as a solo artist resulted in a feature in Q Magazine and an invitation to play their London showcase.

With a band behind him in support, David is delighted to release his debut single, ‘Marmalade’, through Lonesome Boat Records. Engineered and mixed by Ewan Cruickshank and mastered by Mark Freegard at Kyoti Studio in Glasgow, ‘Marmalade’ captures the feeling of sudden rejection and yearning masked within an upbeat pop melody to produce a bold and heartfelt introduction to his solo music.
